Community Tribute: Robert Watson, in Memoriam

Posted in: ,

“Earlier [last] month, Carson Graham Secondary lost one of its best staff members. Rob Watson was an incredibly well-loved and respected member of the Carson Graham community and staff. As a grad counsellor, he helped students to prepare for the transition from high school to the real world. It wasn’t a smooth transition for many, and it was a transition many feel they weren’t ready for, myself included. With his support and his guidance, I was able to make it through my final year of high school and attend post secondary at Vancouver Island University. It makes me sad to say that me and my classmates were his last grad class, but it was a pleasure, and an honour to have him as our grad counsellor, and I think I can speak for our entire grad class that we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. The North Vancouver community will miss you, Carson Graham will miss you, the grad class of 2017 and all that came before will miss you, and I will miss you. Thank you for all you have done in my life Mr. Watson.”
